It's been said that visualizing what you want in life can make it happen -- and this little interior design studio is a testament to the power of positive thinking! For the last 2 years, I've wanted a light, bright and happy place to work outside of my home -- and in January of this year, I signed a lease on a beautiful space in downtown Lafayette, CA.

Interior Design: Before & After Bathroom Remodel

My clients have two young daughters and needed this bathroom to more efficient with storage and space. They wanted a timeless design in their 100 year old home that would transition with the girls as they grow from playing in the bathtub as toddlers, to maximizing space needed for makeup, hairdryers, etc as they become teenagers.

In this project, in Orinda, Ca., I was tasked with coming up with a design solution for a landing space at the top of a stairwell. It was a space that was too small for a loveseat and chairs, and too big and open to use as a home office.
