Mother's Day Gift Guide

April 16, 2018 Leslie Price
Mother's Day Gift Guide

Mother's Day is right around the corner!  This year is flying by!  Typically on Mother's Day each year, I let my family know that I won't be cooking for them!  And that's my gift!! :)

But seriously, if you need some gift ideas to give to your family as a hint -- or a gift for yourself (ha!), I thought I'd share some pretty and colorful items that I'm loving right now....

1. The Small Transport Crossbody Bag

I'm super excited to let you know that artist Bridgette Thornton (whose work I feature in my studio) has launched a product line at Anthropologie!  These colorful melamine dinner plates will be great for summer entertaining!

3. Decorative Pillows

One of my favorite sources for decorative pillows is Arianna Belle.  The site offers a selection of custom pillows in a variety of high end fabrics.  Fun!

4. Tassel Earrings

These pretty tassel earrings from Nordstrom are well priced and come in a range of pretty summer colors.  Love!!

5. Art

Of course, you know I always love a beautiful and original piece of art - so I had to include one in my roundup!   "Spring Poem on Green" by Kayce Hughes is available via Serena & Lily. Kayce's work is whimsical and colorful.  This piece would be great nestled in a bookcase layered with textured decorative items and white books!

Of course, the greatest gift as a mother, is our children....so I wish you and your family a joyful day!

Thanks for stopping by!

Contact me if you want to get your home spruced up for summer!  Cheers!

Interior Design: Before & After Bathroom Remodel

My clients have two young daughters and needed this bathroom to more efficient with storage and space. They wanted a timeless design in their 100 year old home that would transition with the girls as they grow from playing in the bathtub as toddlers, to maximizing space needed for makeup, hairdryers, etc as they become teenagers.

Interior Design: A Pretty Place for Reading

In this project, in Orinda, Ca., I was tasked with coming up with a design solution for a landing space at the top of a stairwell. It was a space that was too small for a loveseat and chairs, and too big and open to use as a home office.
